I'm sorry I havn't been around for a few days. Mikes on the early shift which really messes up my blogging as I always do that in the evening.
And so onto why you've come here. I'm guessing you think that I'm using a very strange title today, well you see the card I am sharing with you today is for my Dad for father's day. I am a huge Daddy's girl, and this card was made with love from me.
I am entering this card into the following three challenges :
Teddy Bo - shaped cards
Pollycraft - be my teddy bear
Here come the boys - Fathers day
And so onto showing you my card :
Want to see a close-up of Teddy Bea -When you wish upon a star?
I usually print my digi's at around 10cm, so I imported Teddy Bea into Make the cut software, and made her 10cm tall. I then designed the triple layered Dad so that it matched her height. The wording was then cut on my cricut n Kraft, white PP from the me to you collection and then in light teal in DCWV card. I then drew some stitching around the top light teal layer.
I printed out Teddy Bea 3 times, once onto rymans coated cardstock for colouring, once onto PP from the same me to you range of papers, for her paper pieced spotty dress and finally onto velum for the wings.
Teddy bea was coloured with my copics and then I used sakura clear stardust pens for her spots on her dress and her star on her wand. I used sakura black glaze pens to give her a sniey nose and eyes, and finally I used sakura white gelly roll pen to give her shiny boots.
I ended by using my white flock to give her a furry pompom, and a touch of glamour dust glitter on her wings.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit here today and that you come back soon,
