The bear is Newton's Law and is coloured with copic's.  I have added glitter to the birds wings and clear glitter pen on the centre of the flower.
The 3 different PP's were all from my scrap drawer.  The lemon lace is what I got in a lace swap.
The beautiful bee is from a charm bracelet I got in the sale Claire's accessories, which was in a buy 2 get one free on all sale items.
I hope you like my card today and if you come back tomorrow (Monday 1st August) you can see my Guest Design card for Craft Your Passion.

Love is ...

Here is my penultimate anniversary card for my Inlaws.  Just one to make that will be off the dogs.  Yes I know I'm slightly crackers but they are the only "grandchildren" my in-laws have.  Or as we call them the grand-dogs.

I found a new sketch challenge the other day so today I am entering it for the first time.

Here is the sketch :

 and here's my card :

The PP is from ages ago, I think it was a freebie on a magazine.  The hearts embossing folder used is from the country companions range.  My Lili of the Valley couple are coloured with copics and I have added a touch of glamour dust to the roses.  Finally the sentiment reads "Love is..." and on the inside it reads "celebrating your ruby wedding anniversary"
I hope you like my card,
Hugs

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary

Today is my wedding anniversary and on Sunday its my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary.  Unfortunately my hubby didn't get a card as I've been really busy with card orders.  Don't feel sorry for him coz I didn't get a card either.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Totally Papercrafts  - bling it up (glitter, flowers, gems in the flowers and on the bow, clear glitter pen on champagne then coated in glossy accents)
Charisma Cardz - four legged friends (both bunnies)
Anything goes - flowers
The outlawz - anything goes
Lili of the Valley - the sketch used

The main DP is a Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen that I got for £1 from Every Crafts A Pound.
The ribbon was carefully removed from a parcel.  Th gem in its centre is from some jewellery from Primark.
The image from Lili of the Valley is coloured with copic's, with some glamour dust glitter and i coloured the champagne glasses with clear glitter pen and then I covered them with glossy accents.
The three flowers were in a pack that I got from The stamp pad in Saddleworth.
I really like this card.  Come back tomorrow for another Lili of the Valley card.

I was featured on Sweet Stop Sketches

Shannon, one f the design team at Sweet Stop Sketch blog, kindly chose my card as her favourite from the entries for sketch 118. You can see her comment here.
She kindly said "Just Really Really Amazing coloring! I coudn't stop looking at it... lol..."
How nice is that??  Especially as today is my 11th wedding anniversary.
She was talking about the card I made for my nephews birthday.
This is the card :

And here is my badge :

Thanks for stopping on by and for all the lovely comments you leave me,

With love on your Wedding Anniversary

This Sunday marks my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary.  This is our card to them.  Made with my favourite LOTV image.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge :
2 sisters challenge blog - anything goes
Cute card thursday - great sketch (I turned it sideways)
Allsorts - anything goes

The image is coloured with copics.  I have added some glamour dust and some clear gel pen to add some sparkle to the image.
The checked paper is from my great blog friend Marion.  The lace is off my local market. The red textured mirri card is from Kanban and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Kenny K's Krafty Girls Challenge #3

This past week has seen me colour in quite a few Kenny K images, and I have fallen in love with.
When I saw the challenge this week I wasn't sure I could make a pocket card but decided to give it a go.
I am entering this card into the following challenges :
Kenny K's - pocket cards
Stamptacular - pocket cards
Allsorts - free n easy
Dream Valley Challenge - a surprise

I have used Teen Idol.  I have really had my moneys worth with this guy.  He is coloured with copic's then fussy cut out and mounted on foam pads onto an oval that is edged with forest moss distress ink.
The green paper was "grunged" up by stamping parts of the lili of the valley grunge postcard in the forest moss distress ink.
I die cut a Penny Duncan shaplie then folded it in half and stuck onto the inner pocket so you can easily pull that section out.
I have stuck a triangle on the back so that it can stand up.
You will have to believe me when I say that this card looks much better IRL.
Thanks for dropping on by,
H xx

It feels like a Magical Monday

Hello and welcome to another Magical Monday.  Here I am to share my card that I've made for this weeks challenge.  What's the challenge??  Well this time we have gone for a colour theme of
RED and TEAL.
I've never used this combo before, but I'm quite pleased with how its turned out.
Now if you colour your images with copic's you need to check out Suzanne Deans Color me creative challenge as she has also chosen the same colour combo of red and teal, but she has also included white.

So why not pop on over to Magical Mondays and see what great cards the design team and guest designers have got for you.

Don't forget to use a Magical image such as a dragon, wizard or fairy.  Cards entered without a magical image will be removed from the challenge.

So enough of me waffling on, here's my card :

Isn't she just so adorable.  I used a Wee stamps image for the last magical monday card but I loved the designs so much I decided to use a different one.
She is coloured with copic's.  She has clear glitter pen in the centre's of each flower and on the bells at the bottom of her pants.  The wings were coloured and covered in glamour dust, or stripper dust as my friends husband called it.
The iridescent teal paper came from my local craft stall  when she was closing down.
The ribbon is from my vast collection of ribbons.  The red gem flower on the bow was bought from Every Crafts A Pound.   And finally the charm hanging below the bow is from a necklace I pulled to pieces.
So what are you waiting for??  Go and grab your magical images and get creative.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :
Pixie Dust Studio's - for the great sketch used
Do it with digi's - summer fun
Cuddly Buddly - add a charm
Stamp Something - favourite embellishments - glitter and ribbon
Emerald Fairies - all things nice
Colour me creative - red, teal and white
The outlaws - things with wings

The boy is from Spesch stamps and hes coloured with copics.  The edge punch used is fiskars bracket punch.   I have also used bakers devine twine and a peel off happy birthday.

Look Moo's 21

Next month my niece turns 21.  I can't believe how fast the time has gone.  She is currently working in Devon on a dairy farm and so that explains my choice of image, a cow.
I am entering her card into the following challenges :

Papertake - cute, well you can't get much cuter than a cow can you?!?!?!?
You can??? No just look at our new calf Max and then say cows arn't cute.

See told you!!

I also want to enter my card in to A gem of a challenge for the great sketch I used.

Thanks for dropping on by and leaving me such lovely comments,
H xx

Happy 16th Birthday Charlotte

Now you know that banners have been around for quite a while now, well this is my first go at having a banner on a card.  Yes I know I'ma bit slow on the uptake.
I am entering this card into the following challenges :

Sunday Sketch n stamp - brill sketch used
Sweet stampin - fashion

The only way me card differs from the sketch is that i turned the shaped paper onto its side.
Image is Kenny K and coloured with copics.

Charlotte Goes Shopping

Here I am to share another card with you that I have made for my nieces upcoming 16th birthday.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :

Sketch n stash - the brilliant sketch, i found so easy to use.I used a new digi stamp bought especially for Charlotte
Cfreative Craft - layers 10 layers in fact.

Isn't she brilliant.  Shes coloured with copic's and some glossy accents on her boots.  The gingham paper is off my friend Marion and all others are from my scrap drawer.  The gems in the corners have been in my stash since I first started card making 18 months ago.
This card just needs the wording "Sweet 16th, Charlotte" as its for my brother and his wife to give her.
Hugs

I won, I won!!

Yes once again I got to do the happy dance.  I won over at Here Come The Boys

And I came top 3 at Mad for markers.

I will be back later with lots of new cards to share.  Don't tell anyone but I'll be glad when I have all my card orders done.  I know I need the money for some new copic's and a couple of blades for my trimmer but I could so do with a rest,

Sparkling Snowflakes

So the sun is finally shining, its warm outside and so I have a Christmas card to share with you.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Tip top tuesday - shaped cards
Stamp Something - favourite embellishment - just had to be glitter
Creative craft - layers or decoupage
Paper Sundaes - Christmas
Bugaboo - Christmas

So here's my card, shame all the glitter didn't show up too well.

The stamp I have used is Stampin Up Serene snowflakes.  Stamped with blue chalk ink.  The smaller white stamped snowflakes are from the same stamp set.
I began by cutting out my shaped card on my cricut using Make the cut software.  The blue layer is also cut on the cricut and then stamped with the smaller snowflakes, glamour dust glitter is added to the centre of each snowflake.
The 2 snowflake edged strips across the card are done with my super new EK Success punch.  The ribbon was bought from Tesco's just after Christmas last year and cost about 30 p.  Finally the larger snowflake was stamped in the centre of the circle and then glittered, next i stamped onto a separate piece of paper, and cut out the cross section of the stamp and then it was glittered also.  Finally just the centre circle was stamped cut out and glittered.  They are layered up using foam pads to give a 3d effect.
So on Tip Top Tuesday they asked for a tip.  Mine tip is about using your edge punches.  Punch out 2 strips, say from the snowflake punch I used.  Then turn the punched edges together and you get a beautiful snowflake strip, like in the photos below. I hope you understand what I mean.

Hugs
