Thankyou for choosing me

When my brother asked me to make a card for him to give to his wife on their anniversary the only help he gave me regarding wording was "thank you for putting up with me".  Now don't tell him I said so but I think his wife is lucky that she has him.  So I decided to change the wording to read "Thank you for choosing me"  I thought it sounded so much nicer, more romantic and it fit my Teddy Bo image better.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Stamp something - thank you
Do you stack up - thank you
Top tip tuesday - thank you
Cupcake crafts - sketch used
Copic creations - use copic BG colours
Stampalot - whatever you fancy

The sketch has been flipped on it's side and I have replaced the 3 gems for the flower with the leaves.
The image which is a Teddy Bo digi stamp is coloured in with copic's.  For this card I thought I would colour Bea and Bo in different brown colour combo's.  I have added glamour dust to the pom pom on Bea's hat and clear glitter prn to the centre of the flowers Bo has behind his back.  I have used the same woodware corner punch on all the papers on this card.  The PP are from Pink Petticoat I think.
The torn rose was made, glued and then a pearl added to the centre.  The rose's leaves are from a woodware grasses punch and are punched from wrapping paper.  And that's my tip of today.  Look out for paper's that can be used craftily, whether its wrapping paper or my other BIG favourites.  Which is to cut out the panels from the boxes, cans of coca cola come in, as they make perfect "kraft " cardstock as long as the outside is covered, no one is any the wiser.
Thanks for stopping by and did you know that there are now Teddy Bo rubber stamps?????
Big hugs

Gone Fishing

My brother-in-law is a keen fisherman so for his birthday cards I went with the fisherman theme.
This is his first card.  I am entering it into the following challenges :
Sweet sketch wednesday - the great sketch I used
Do it with digis - summer fun
Cute card thursday - cheeky card (see sentiment)
i-copic - pastel colours

Teddy Bo is coloured with copics as always.  He has glossy accents on his glasses and the fish.
The green bakers twine is from wild orchid crafts.  The brown netting stuff is from The stamp pad, saddleworth.  The quote was found thanks to google.
Thanks for droppping by and I hope to catch up with you all soon,

It's a Kind of Magic

As soon as I saw the Abracadabra stamp from Lili of the Valley, he went straight to the top of my most wanted list, so using him today has been brilliant.
I am entering my magical card into the following challenges :
Lili of the Valley - bring on the music - queen song Its a kind of magic
TotallyPaperCrafts - punches and die cuts - I designed the star circle in Make The Cut
Here come the boys - Myth and magic
Paper Sundae's  - Easel cards
Sentimental Sundays - Sparkly or shimmery (no way is this summer, here in the UK, is it? )
Do you stack up? - use a star
Copic Creations - Doodles - the music notes in white gel pen
Sunday Sketch and Stamp - the sketch below

And here's my card :

The cute Abracadabra guy has been stamped onto a star circle I made in make the cut then cut it on my cricut.  (if you want a copy of my MTC file , please let me know in the comments section and if anyones interested I will work out how to attach a file onto my blog and post it for you)
The star circle also has a black shadow to set off the white and make it pop.
He is coloured with copics, with his stars and moons done in yellow sakura stardust pen and his wand in silver sakura pen.
The sparkly star paper is by making memories and the black organza ribbon has silver dots all over it.  The strip of shimmery black card across the bottom of the card and behind the sentiment is actually from the box I spray my perfect pearls mists on to.  I have doodled the music notes using white gel pen.
The sentiment has been computer generated.
The only way my card is different from the sketch as I have done the stars all around the circle instead of using flowers.
Don't forget if you want a copy of my MTC file just let me know in my comments,
Hugs

Anyone feel like dancing?

So waana dance? No?!?! Anya flapper does.  As soon as I saw this girl I knew I just had to colour her.
I am entering this card into the following challenges :
The Greeting Farm - photo inspiration
Copic Creations - doodles (my music notes were doodled)
Mad for markers - brown hair
Pollycraft - ribbons and flowers (ribbon runs across centre of card and my flowers are the stylized ones with black centres)
Sweet sketch wednesday - the sketch below

And here is my card :

Anya is coloured with copics with a little black glitter on her feather and beads of her dress.  The circle was then edged with spun sugar and dusty concord distress ink.
the "flowers" are actually off a pair of ear-rings I got from Dunnes. The centres of the flowers are dew dops covered in glue then coated in black glitter.
The strip of ribbon across the centre is from my stash and the pink PP came on a free 6x6" pad of pink petticoat papers I got with my magazine.  Others papers are from my stash.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving me such great comments,  read them all,
Hugs
