Time Traveller

My card today is a little different from the norm.  I've gone for the shabby/steampunk look.
I am entering my card into the following challenges :
Sweet stampin - strawberry, chocolate, cream colour combo
Totally gorjuss - as you like it
DYSU - man or boy
Top tip tuesday - male cards
Anything goes - inspired by a film - back to the future
Cards for men - anything goes

Do you like my ticket?  If so then  save the tickets just below this card discription by clicking on it then left click and save as.
The image I have coloured with copic's is called Steampunk Luca.  The backing paper I found in my digi paper section, and I added steampunk corners from Delicious doodles.  The clock is a Tim Holtz sizzix die as is the cog in the top right corner.  The cog is covered in gilding flakes.  I used antique paper distress stain on both the edge of the image and the BP.  I then went round all the edges of the papers with my paper distresser.

Hope you like my card that's a little different from my normal style,
Hugs

I inally have a card to share!!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :

The die cut border was cut on my cricut and it is in the make the cut gallery.   I have added gold craftwork cards candi.  The ribbon is lush and came from my local craft shop.  The tree is a inkadinkado stamp I think.
And thats it really, pretty clean and simple.
I'm hoping my back will ease off a little bit over the weekend so I can get some colouring done as I havn't coloured all week and it's just pants!!

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at Magical Monday's.  For the next two week's we want to see you using our very own Heidi's sketch.  And please don't forget to use a magical image on your project.
As Christmas approaches don't forget that the main man Father Christmas and his sidekick Rudolf are magical characters, along with their ever so helpful elves.
This is the sketch that Heidi has designed for us all to work with.

And here is my take on the sketch :

Poor Teddy Bo, I don't think his Christmas job is exactly what he had planned.  This Bo is called Sugar Plum Fairy and he doesn't come with wings I added those in adobe elements.
No only is Bo in a skirt he's also been blinged up to his eyeballs.  Sorry Bo.
Bo is coloured with copic's and I then added glamour dust to his wings, blue ultra fine glitter to his stars and 2 coats of crystal ice stickles.
I used tumbled glass distress ink on the circle and the fancy tag.
The paper's are from the DCWV winter wonder stack.  The gems are fizzy moon and the ribbon is from my stash.
The sentiment was created by my very talented friend Marion.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Totally Papercrafts - Christmas
Bunny Zoe - easel cards
Bearly-mine - bling
Cards for men - anything goes
Totally Gorjuss - cute and cuddly
Crafts 4 eternity - flags, tickets, tags (I used a fancy tag as a stopper)

Thanks to my great friend Marion I can share with you the word art she made me for this card.
Click on the image to bring it up large then right click and save image as.

Good luck everyone entering our challenge,

My Daddy is Number 1

I'm not talking about my Daddy.  Well yes I am coz he is simply THE BEST, but this card is actually for another Daddy.  Ethan is sending his Daddy his very first birthday card and as Ethan is only 8 months old he asked me to help with it.
I would like to enter Ethan's card into the following challenges :
Sunday sketch n stamp - the sketch was mad for this image - new digi stamp, old glitter pen
Bearly-mine - bling
Anything goes - happy birthday
A spoonful of sugar - happy birthday
icopic - orange/blue colour scheme
Pollycraft - distressing
Cards for men - anything goes
Card making mamas - birthday cards
Craft us crazy - anything goes

On the sketch the image stands on a rectangle the holds the sentiment but I thought I would be nicer for the little boy on a podium as if he's won a prize of having the best Dad.  The little boy is by Mami Doodles and is called Daddy's boy.  He's coloured with copic's and has white gel pen as high lights on his shoe's and cheeks, and I have gone over the writing with a clear glitter pen to add some subtle bling.  The stars were cut on my cricut and are outlined in glamour dust glitter.  The gingham paper (that is edged in distress ink) is from my best bloggy friend Marion. Thank you ducky, I just can't get enough of gingham at the mo.  The devine twine has has some distress ink run over them to make them match the colour scheme better.
I just want to say a big thank you to all those of you who have become a follower.  As I have now made it into 3 figures I thought it was about time I had some blog candy so hopefully I will get the photos taken and get a blog post done tomorrow.
Big hugs

I love you

This card is for my Hubby's cousin to give to her FiancĂ©e.
I'm not overly happy with it and I think I could done alot better with the colouring but I've not been in the right head space to be creative so it's my own fault.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :
Sketch n stash - great sketch - old papers, new twine
Pollycraft - distressing - distress ink used on edges of all papers
Cards for men - anything goes
Dream Valley - distressing
Crafty Emmas Store - 2 different DP
Bugaboo - distressing

The image(LIli of the Valley) is coloured with copics.  The DP's are from my scrap drawer, I think they may be from a magazine.  The twine is laced through the image and came from aldi.  I have used walnut distress ink on the edges of all the papers.
Hugs
