It feels like a Magical Monday

Hi there and welcome to Magical Mondays brand new challenge, where we share our love of all thing magical be it fairies, dragons, wizards etc..
Our challenge lasts for 2 weeks so there's plenty of time for you to join in.
The theme for the challenge is for you to use 2 textures on your project.
Ideas for textures could be lace, embossing both dry and heat, using glitter paper or even glitter itself, just make sure you let us know the two textures (or more) that you use.

Here is my card :

Here is a close up of my fairy

Here you can just make out the butterfly embossed paper

Here you can see how she has a full set of wings

As soon as the Wee Stamps Silver Fairy Stamp available digitally from Cuddly Buddly Crafts I just had to have her, I've since been back and added a few more of the Wee stamps digi's to my collection.
She has been coloured with copics and has plenty of glamour dust to add the fairy sparkle.  I coloured glittered and then very carefully cut out a second set of her wings to layer up and give her some dimension.
The sentiment is one from a great set from Lili of the Valley, the lace is from my local market, the textured linen effect mirri card is from Kanban, the butterfly embossed paper is from my great friend in Greece, Marion and the flower patterned paper is from the sophie chic collection from Bo Bunny.

I am entering this card into the following challenges :

Cuddly Buddly - lace and flowers
Copic Creations - white clothing

Totally loving Tickled Pink Stamps

This post is my final one as a  Fiskarette, my three months are up and it's time for some new designers.
Tomorrow I will go through all I've learnt about Fiskars products, my favourites pieces and what I now can't live without.
The card I'm sharing with you all today features one of Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Victorian Steampunk images called Victorian Steampunk Lad Luca.  I really struggled choosing which one to have as I bought quite a few of the digis in the last week as a pick me up after having stupid amounts of pain with my back.  Ok more than quite a few, I bought 8.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
TotallyPaperCrafts - punches and die cuts
Bugaboo - its a mans world
Mad for Markers - brown hair
Tickled Pink Stamps - the sketch below

And here's my card :

Luca is coloured with my copics, and he is edged with vintage photo distress ink.
The BP has been edged with the same distress ink, as has the circle.  The papers are from my stash pile, the kraft cardstock has been embossed with Fiskars squares texture plate and then spritzed with perfect copper perfect pearls mist as has the circle.  The ribbon was from a set from TK Maxx.  The punched spotty strip is done with my fiskars bracket border punch.  The ticket was made by the every talented Marion.
Thanks for dropping on over,
Hugs
H xx
