Two posts in one day!!!

I've decided to give in and start on my Christmas cards.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Sketch n stash - sketch used - new image used and velum bought in the january sales
Pixie Dust - monochromatic/ favourite colour - has to be sepia
Totally Gorjuss - Christmas
My time to craft - coffee colours
Sweet Stampin - Christmas
Cuddly Buddly - pearls and petals - pearls in the flowers on her hair, also flowers on the velum
Totally Papercrafts - bling it up - glittered wings, charm, clear glitter pen used
Allsorts - free and easy
Copic Oz - hair
i-copic - skin tones
Secret Crafter - monochromatic

So where do I start? Well the image is called Winter Fairy and is by Wee Stamps.
I began firstly by colouring her in with my copics.  I then added glamour dust for her wings, latte glitter flock for her cuffs on her coat, white flower soft on the floor, pearls in her hair and on her wand and finally clear glitter pen on her headband and the holly berries.  The image is then finished by adding a metallic brown dotted border.
The poinsettia velum on the upper half of the card is by papermania and is called "A Christmas Carol pack"  Gorgeous stuff and highly reflective.
The lower PP is by dovecraft from the let it snow stack.  Both ribbons are from my stash.  The charm is actually silver, I just coloured it with my copics.
So there you have it. I hope you like it,
Hugs

It feels like a Magical Monday

Hello and welcome to another Magical Monday.  Here I am to share my card that I've made for this weeks challenge.  What's the challenge??  Well this time we have gone for a colour theme of
RED and TEAL.
I've never used this combo before, but I'm quite pleased with how its turned out.
Now if you colour your images with copic's you need to check out Suzanne Deans Color me creative challenge as she has also chosen the same colour combo of red and teal, but she has also included white.

So why not pop on over to Magical Mondays and see what great cards the design team and guest designers have got for you.

Don't forget to use a Magical image such as a dragon, wizard or fairy.  Cards entered without a magical image will be removed from the challenge.

So enough of me waffling on, here's my card :

Isn't she just so adorable.  I used a Wee stamps image for the last magical monday card but I loved the designs so much I decided to use a different one.
She is coloured with copic's.  She has clear glitter pen in the centre's of each flower and on the bells at the bottom of her pants.  The wings were coloured and covered in glamour dust, or stripper dust as my friends husband called it.
The iridescent teal paper came from my local craft stall  when she was closing down.
The ribbon is from my vast collection of ribbons.  The red gem flower on the bow was bought from Every Crafts A Pound.   And finally the charm hanging below the bow is from a necklace I pulled to pieces.
So what are you waiting for??  Go and grab your magical images and get creative.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :
Pixie Dust Studio's - for the great sketch used
Do it with digi's - summer fun
Cuddly Buddly - add a charm
Stamp Something - favourite embellishments - glitter and ribbon
Emerald Fairies - all things nice
Colour me creative - red, teal and white
The outlaws - things with wings

Happy Sweet 16 Charlotte

You know you're getting old with your neice's and nephews starting hitting those special birthdays.  In the space of 12 days my 2 nieces turn 16 and 21, and my nephew turns 11.  So expect plenty of  of special birthday cards in the next few weeks.
Todays card is for Charlotte who turns 16 on the first of August.
I am entering my card into the following challenges :
Mad for markers - Pink and yellow
Sketch Saturday - for using the sketch below
Digital Tuesdays - using dies (die cut butterflies)
Pixie Dust - girly
Do it with digis - spots or stripes (stripy paper used)
Tickled Pink - cute with a butterfly
Allsorts - free and easy
Icopic - birthdays
Craft your passion - just for you

So what do you think?
The image I have used is Lil Lolita Kellita and as its digi week you can get her as a digi stamp.  She is coloured with my copic's.  I have added a little white dot on her eyes so that they look like they are shining and I also coloured her pupil in with black glaze pen to add to the shine.
The image, sentiment (computer generated) and striped and yellow card stock are all been given a edge of distress ink in spun sugar.
The butterflies were die cut, glued along the body to add dimension and then given an edging of glamour dust glitter.
So until next time,
Hugs

Hildie and the big flower

I'm really pleased with this card and it came together really easily.
I have used Hildie and her big flower from CS Designs.
I have entered this card to the following challenges :
Sketch Saturday challenge : see the sketch below
Paper Sundaes : texture (embossed blue card)
Pixie Dust studios : spring/pastel colours
Papertake weekly : spots and stripes (spotted card candy, stripy PP)

Here's the sketch from Sketch saturday :

And here is my card :

Hildie is coloured with copics.  I have used star dust stickles on her wings and she has a blue gem on ger shoes.
The PP is from a honey and hugs set, the blue pearlised card is embossed with my sizzix bog spots folder, the pink card has been misted with interference red perfect pearls mist.  The card candy are the new spots range. The stamp is inkadinkado.  I love these stamps but only have 1 so if you have some and don't use them I would happily buy them off you.
Thanks for all the lovely comments, you all really make my day,

Pixie Dust Challenge 59 - Who's the chef

This week Mike's Gran had some bad news for the hospital so I thought I would make her some flapjack to cheer her up a bit when we went to visit last night.  I decided I'd make a cute bag to put the flapjack to make it a bit more special.

The glass of milk in the photo is because whenever I go to his Gran's I always have a big glass of milk.  It's a bit of a standing joke.
Looking at the bag now, I think the glittery flowers on the top left of the image could do with a centre in them.
The bag was cut on my cricut from the pearlised card available at the range, the glittery ribbon on the bag and tying the cellophane bag is a from papermania I think.  The flowers and eaves were punched with my woodware punches.
The cute pixie on the bag is called Pixie Lilly.
This bag is entered into the Pixie Dust Challenge Who's the chef?
The name of the cute pixie is Pixie Lilly.

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge # 58 " Button Up "

Just the one card to show you at the moment and it's my Pixie Dust Challenge Card..
When I won last week's challenge I chose Zeeba the Zebra as my free digi stamp and I'm really pleased with how my card has turned out using this cute guy..
Here's my card:

The image is coloured very simply with sakura stardust pens for that extra sparkle.  The sentiment reads cute as a button and I have dotted around the edge with my black stardust pen.
I have used my Martha Stewart Double Loops punch around the page on some black gemstock card and backed it with red pearlised card.
The two pp are from my stash and finally the big red buttons are from Heywood market and were 50p each.
I hope you like my card and Don't forget to enter my blog candy draw (details at the top of my blog) as I will be adding 3 more goodies to the draw tomorrow so don't forget to come back and see what else I add,

I won the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge

Yesterday morning I was thrilled to find out that I won the challenge over on Pixie Dust Studio Challenge Blog.

My prize was to pick a digital stamp of my choice.  On every page I found a digi I loved so once I got to Zeeba the zebra I decided not to look on any more pages or I'd really be really struggling.
Hopefully if you come back tomorrow you will see my new Pixie Dust challenge card as well as my Tiddly Inks challenge card.

Pixie Dust Challenge 57 "Let's Play Tag"

This week the challenge over at Pixie Dust Challenge Blog is called
"Let's play tag!"
Create a tag or use a tag on your card/project.

Here's my tag card:

For this card I chose the adorable Wink. He's coloured with my copic's as usual.  The textured shimmery cardstock in the background is called the gemstone collection but I can't rember who it's by thou.
The patterned paper is just an off-cut from my scrap drawer.  I've used my ek success swiss cheese punch on the turquoise scrap paper and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
This large tag card was cut on my cricut using the plantin schoolbook cartridge.

Pixie Dust Studio Card

Hi there, thanks for stopping by.
Today card is being entered into the following challenges :
Here's what they have to say over at Get Funky:
Going Round In Circles
so I want to see all sorts of circles on your projects whether it's on the paper, card shape and so on
The main rule that you must use at least one Funky Hand product remains the same and to help you take part this month there is a freebie which Anice is so kindly giving away for this month to help you with this challenge
Your freebie can be downloaded from the Funky Hand website, look for the freebie in the downloads section.
The other change to the challenge set up is that you will have to come back here every third day this month when a different DT member will be showcasing their project, so remember to follow this blog so you know when a new project has been uploaded- there will also be instructions and some tutorials on how the projects have been made
This way you won't forget to enter the challenge, still thinking you have all month and then before you know it the month has disappeared and your entry not completed and you lost the chance to win your choice of download from the shop.
And here is Friday Sketchers sketch :

And here is my card :

Its a bit away from my usual style and colours, but we all need a change every now and then.
The image is January Pixie and she has been coloured in with my copic's.
The patterned paper across the middle is the free paper available for free for this challenge.
The red textured mirri card and the green textured card underneath January Pixie were both bought from Qvc a while ago now.  The pale green paper is from my stash and I've popped some punched red and green glitter circles to jazz it up a bit.  The final bit of sparkle used on the spots on her hat and scarf and on the smaller circles on the PP is from my sakura clear stardust pen.
Thanks for stopping by and for all the lovely comments, I appreciate them all.
Don't forget to enter my blog candy draw while you're here.
