Time to get all Tiddly Inky

It seem's such a long time since I entered a Tiddly Inks challenge and I thought it was time I put things right.

So today see's me entering a Tiddly Ink card into the following challenges :

I have used a mixture of two Tiddly Inks images.  I used Bloom Q and the books that were a freebie a while ago.  She is coloured with copic's and sakura blue and clear stardust pens.  The heart border was cut on my cricut using a cut file I found in the make the cut gallery.  The sentiment is computer generated.

I followed the sketch from Totally gorjuss and turned it on it's side.

Lots of things to share with you today

This image as always a Teddy Bo image and I have coloured it with copic's.  The 3 paw prints were brads from my stash.  The papers are as follows - black and cream paper is DCWV All dressed up, the brown patterned paper behind the scrabble letters is Kanban and finally the leather effect paper was a wall paper sample my SIL gave me.  The ribbon is from my stash.

Teddy Bea is all girly and pink

I was trying to think today if I had ever coloured Teddy Bea in girly pink.  I couldn't remember one so thought I'd give it a go.

I began by colouring Teddy Bea with my copic's.  I changed the orientation of parts of the sketch to fit in with embossing folder.I wanted my hearts to go top to bottom.  I then die cut the swirl and flower from the cricut cart accent essentials.  The white panels are embossed with a country companions hearts embossing folder.  The double loop punch is a Martha Stewart favourite.

Happy 21st Birthday from the cows

OK technically not from the cows, the card is actually going to be off her Dad but it features cows.

The cows are coloured with copic's and decoupaged as you hopefully can see in the third photo.

The papers are all from my scraps drawer and the 21 was cut on my cricut in black glitter paper.

The charm is from my great blog friend Marion and is glued with silicone sealant. Which reminds me I must try some on the hole in my wellies as it's wellie weather again here.
So my tip for top tip tuesday - instead of buying glitter embossing powder, just add micro fine glitter to your normal embossing powder.  Then you will have a glittery and non-glittery version.

It feels like a Magical Monday

My card today features a mermaid that I found mentioned on a copic forum I go on.  The artist is called Sureya and she will happily let you colour her images.  All she asks is that you share your coloured image on the that images page and that you credit the image to her.

She has some of the most amazing, yet challenging (to colour) images for you to download for free and you can see all here.

So here's my Magical Monday Design Team Card

She is coloured with copic's and she took me 2 hours to complete.  I have added dots of clear glitter pen to het tail, I think you can see it in the photos.  The main PP has the words calm , tranquillity and peace printed on it.  The spotty paper has had the glitter treatment. The starfish charm is from some jewellery I got from Primark.  The banner was a blank vector image I found when I was wandering the net and I just added the sentiment to it in adobe elements.

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary

Today is my wedding anniversary and on Sunday its my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary.  Unfortunately my hubby didn't get a card as I've been really busy with card orders.  Don't feel sorry for him coz I didn't get a card either.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :

The main DP is a Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen that I got for £1 from Every Crafts A Pound.

The ribbon was carefully removed from a parcel.  Th gem in its centre is from some jewellery from Primark.

The image from Lili of the Valley is coloured with copic's, with some glamour dust glitter and i coloured the champagne glasses with clear glitter pen and then I covered them with glossy accents.

The three flowers were in a pack that I got from The stamp pad in Saddleworth.

I really like this card.  Come back tomorrow for another Lili of the Valley card.

My Mum is one of those Super Special People

My Mum is one of those Super Special People and I don't tell her enough so I thought I'd make her something to remind her of just how special she is.

I am entering my altered photo frame into the following challenges :

So here is my very first altered object.

So where did I start?  Well instead of being sensible and finding some tutorials on how to alter a frame I just just jumped in with both feet.

I cut the pink spotty paper (sorry don't know the maker) just bigger than the size of the frame plus the depth.  I glued it to the frame using glossy accents and then went round the frame with tea distress ink.

The Teddy Bea on the front of the frame was printed and then coloured with copics, she was then fussy cut out and glued to the papered frame.

The second larger "Mum" Teddy Bea was printed the size of the cut out of the frame and coloured with copic's.  I then went overboard with the glitter which sadly does not show up in the photo.  I used a mix of pink Martha Stewart glitter and crystal glamour dust.

Finally, I have a good root through the bowl I keep cheap and/or broken jewellery in and found this beautiful flower.  It is kept in place thanks to my hot glue gun. And the finishing touch for the frame involved colouring some thin silver ribbon with dark pink copic and then wrapping it around a copic and leaving it to dry.  Once dry the ribbon is much more solid and stayed in the curled shape I needed.
