Fairytale Friday

Today is fairytale friday over at the Teddy Bo Challenge, and if you don't know what it go n have a nosey, it's a great way to start the day.
Today I have got a card with one of my favourite Teddy Bo Christmas images.

Sorry for the poor quality photo's,I'm writing this post on hubby's birthday and so I have had to sneak a few mins to do this.
I have coloured TEDDYBO_148 prisma's for his fur and the tree,  and copic's for everything else.
I used a green glaze pen on his boots so that they shine.
The gold star paper is off last years Forever Friends paper pack.   The star and moon border is an EK Success punch.  The felt tree's were a freebie off a magazine, with added liquid pearl drops.
I've finished it all off with a glitter peel off sentiment.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges ;
Totally Papercrafts - Christmas
Crafting for all seasons - sketch used and turned on its side
Stamptacular - boy oh boy

Time for a Teddy Bo Tuesday

These Teddy Bo Tuesday's sure come around quickly these day's.  Before I got my place on the best DT in the world it used to take forever to come round.
So are you ready to see the wonderful new graphic's the boss has been hiding away drawing??

Aren't those "Penguins" just the cutest ever??!!??  I couldn't not use one of them on my card for today.  I've also followed this week's challenge of "Christmas, but no red or green must be seen"

Here he is for his close-up photo.

The gold patterned vellum's are by Papermania Signature collection, "A Christmas Carol".  I got a couple of the A5 packs in the January sale for £1 from the Range.

50 Wonderful Years

A couple who I have known all my life celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last week and this is the card I made to give them.  Of course it has my favourite bears on it and if you have a card with bears on it don't forget that you can enter it into the Cutie Pie Challenge as we have a great Bears challenge on the go and it doesn't close until next Saturday so you have plenty of time to join us.
If you happen to make a Christmas card with  Teddy Bo on it and it doesn't have red or green on it then you can enter it into the Teddy Bo challenge.

I have chosen to use TEDDYBOBEA_081.  I made everything except the bears black and then hubby added the orange fireworks in photoshop.  The 50 is made of tiny dots of glue coated in glamour dust and it catches the light brilliantly and looks like fireworks going off as the light catches the tiny glitter particles.
Teddy Bo and Bea are coloured with prismacolor pencil's blended with sansador.  I added lines of clear glitter pen to the orange fireworks which are great when they catch the light.
Everything has a layer of black, white and silver and the black and white PP is from the Bo Bunny Enchanted collection.
The wording reads "Celebrating 50 years together.  A true love story"
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Stamptacular - boy oh boy
2 sisters - let it sparkle
My time to craft - take 2 - 2 bears
Stamps r us - bling it on
Cupcake carfts - two's company
Creative crafts - minimalistic
So what are you waiting for??  Get making a Teddy Bo Christmas card with no red and green on it and get it entered in both challenges

Fairytale Friday

Did you know that on a Friday you get to read about all the things us designer's get up to at Teddy Bo Towers?  Trust me you do not want to miss out on these tales between rubber underware, potato vodka and the camel's there's always something "interesting" going on.
My card for today feature's TEDDYBO_123

A very young member of our family will be celebrating his very first Christmas this year and this card is especially for him.  To make the image more Christmassy I have paper pieced his jumper and hat to match the candy cane PP.  I have coloured Bo in with both prisma pencils and copic's.  I have used my distress tool on all my papers.
The paper's used are from the First Edition Christmas joy pad.  The scrap strips are the reverse of the cream paper's that I trimmed off to fit the page.
The ribbon is from Stamp and Create.
The 2 square brad's were made using the papermania build a brad kit and if you look closely you can see the candy canes from the paper on the brads.
The card is then finished with two lots of 3 tiny square gems coloured to match the card.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges ;
Tuesday morning sketches - sketch used
My time to craft - seeing 2 - brads
Digital Tuesday - christmastime
Bearly-mine - one for the boys
Cards for men - christmas
Pile it on - traditional christmas
Paper sundaes - going digital
Totally gorjuss - christmas traditions

Congratulations to my Mum

Today my Mum celebrated her very first win with a card she made for my Hubby's birthday.
Here is her card

This was only the second time she had used my prismacolor pencil's and I think she's made a great job of it.
My Mum always puts her cards down so I'm asking you if you wouldn't mind, would you nip over to the blog she shares with her friends and tell her what you think of her great card.
You can find her blog here.
