It's finally Friday!!

Boy have I been tired this past week. I'm blaming it on lack of chocolate.
Today I have a couple of Teddy Bo cards to share with .
One is my Fairytale Friday card and the other
is a card I made for my Dad's birthday back in May that I forgot to blog.

So are you asking yourself what Fairytale Friday is????
Well when you've reached the end of a very long week and need a good giggle,
then head over as Colette share's the going's on at Teddy Bo Towers.

Isn't he adorable???
TEDDYBO_195 coloured with copic's and prisma's

Papers are First Edition Up, up and away (my all time favourite)

What do you think of his blue glow??
I've never tried it before and I just guessed at how you do it.

So my second card is one of Dad's birthday card.

Now there's a funny story behind my choice of image.
Mum and Dad were still living in the caravan when I made this.
That morning Mum and Dad had gone for a walk down Ashworth Valley,
and Dad being the gentleman he is told Mum he'd carry her across the river.
Only thing was Dad slipped, dropped Mum in the middle of the stream and landed on top of her!!
\They were both cold and wet and had another 2 miles to walk back to the caravan.

So thanks for popping on by,
see you soon,
H xx

Time for Teddy Bo Tuesday

Evening folks. As the footy is on tonight I thought I'd leave posting my card til now so that when it appears on Facebook all those sensible crafty ladies will be chatting away Aly's Crafty Den on facebook so more chance of me being able to share the new graphics available at Teddy Bo in the Fairy Doodler's section of the site.

Did you see the prom dress??? Isn't it stunning. The girls on the DT have made some amazing cards using the new images that you really need to go and look at here.

My share for today is custom champagne label for my in-laws to put on their bottle of bubbly for Mum and Dads house warming party.

I so nearly didn't get this made.  I began by spilling sansodor all over the image which I think I saved if you don't look to close. I then knocked my paper trimmer off the desk twice, knocked the bin over twice and all that time breathing in toxic fumes off my black labrador.  Finally whilst setting up the scene I spilt wine all over the tv stand!!
The image opens up so that a message can be wrote inside.

Teddy Bo Tuesday

For those eagle eyed you will see I posted this on Wednesday not Tuesday but our internet wasn't working yesterday so I'm late sharing my card with you all.
First things first, have you seen the new graphics????

Aren't they brilliant?????
Now our new challenge started on Tuesday and it's my team's turn to host the challenge and we want to see
Teddy Bo Tuesday - A two week extravaganza! Challenge #34:

::A GIFT CARD::
(CARD THAT CONTAINS A GIFT I.E. TEALIGHTS, CHOCCY, GIFT CARD)

CHALLENGE CLOSES SUNDAY 24th JUNEAT MIDNIGHT UK TIME

YOUR ENTRY MUST CONTAIN A TEDDY BO & CO IMAGE

Now as I like being different my card is very different to the rest of the teams AMAZING creations.
So as you know my parents finally move into their new home on Friday and as soon as I saw the moving images I knew I had to use them. Now one of Mum's main worries is remembering which box has the kettle so they can have a brew so the "gift" on my card is a tea bag. The sentiment on the tag reads "First things first, put the kettle on"

Let's Pretend it's Friday

Yeah it's Friday and here comes the weekend!!
Ok so it's Sunday but I have had no internet since Thursday and this post was meant to go out on Friday.
What made the no internet business worse was we could get into Mike's emails to get the details for the Weekend away we've booked at a Manor house in the lakes for Mum and Dad's golden wedding anniversary present.
So this rainy day see's me sharing 2 of my Mum and Dad's Golden Wedding cards I'd made them.

It's Teddy Bo Tuesday

Just realised it's Tuesday, thought it was Sunday. I'm blaming the bank holiday weekend.
My Aunt and her hubby have come over from Australia first for my Niece's wedding and next for Mum and Dad's golden wedding. They go home a week today but they are currently wandering the British Isles visiting friends and family and so my choice for their joint birthday card image was a no brainer.

Papers are Up up and away by First Edition.

Don't Forget

You have until Sunday 10th June at Midnight

I would like to enter this card into the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge as I followed their following sketch.

Helllloooooo have you missed me???

I'm sorry I have taken such a long absence from here but with the wedding over with, parents moved and their golden wedding just around the corner I'm finally getting my bum back at my craft desk.
I have managed to get a few cards made over the past couple of months.
I will be back over the coming days with photo's of my various makes but first I thought I'd get you up to date on my life.

The wedding of my Niece and her new hubby went perfectly if only the breeze could have been warmer.
The hours and hours of planning and preparation I did for it showed and everyone complemented me on the day which was nice.

Here they are at the end of the evening with John wearing the cake stand as a halo.
They spent a wonderful week in Mexico and are now back at work as dairy farmers.
Just 6 days after that saw my parents leave the family farm and move into temporary accommodation in an old caravan on a friends farm and their labrador move in with us until they make their final move to their new home on June 15th.
This was our family farm.

And finally we are just 6 days away from Mum and Dad celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary with a big party full and family and friends.
I'm currently in the process of making a wall display featuring their wedding photo's. I will show you it when it's complete.
I also have something incredibly wonderful to share with you.
Last January my engagement ring snapped and then we lost it. Finally found it in February this year only for the jeweller said it was not repairable.
So guess my surprise when my very gorgeous hubby got down on one knee and asked me to marry him again and produced the most amazing engagement ring!!!
It's the one in ring in the middle.

I have also decided to step down from The cutie pie challenge blog and D'Arcy's diaries so I can give 100% to the best bear in the world Teddy Bo!!

And finally here is one of the cards I've made recently.

This card was for a little girls 2nd birthday and features the first Teddy Bo I ever remember seeing.
TEDDYBEA_116 coloured with copic's and prisma's.
 Glamour dust for her wings.
Spellbinder star circle
Cheery Lynn butterflies
Papers are the gorgeous Teddy Bo ones.
Lace and gems from stash.

So as you can see I've been kept very busy and very soon I will be having a followers blog candy give away to say thank you to those of you that still come and visit me, so keep your eyes peeled.
So see you soon,
H xx
