Time for another Teddy Bo Tuesday

Hiya folks, well it's Tuesday apparently.  I am so bad at the moment on knowing what day it is.
Gayle has drawn some great images once again and the other girlies in the team have really really rocked the cards.
Here are this week's images and hey the sales still on so why not get one or two extra, I know I would.

You really must go over to the blog and check out these images on some amazing cards.  You can go to our Teddy Bo blog by clicking here and you can go straight to the shop by clicking here.

My card for today features TEDDYBOBEA_102

I first saw this style of card on Jill's blog here.  Then the ever so clever Tammy did the same style of card here. Aren't they brilliant?? You have to make one of these, they are really addictive and I'm sure I will be sharing more of these with you soon.
So back to the card.  I coloured Ollifant with copic's.
I added glamour dust to his bobble hat and glossy accents to his bubbles.
The card uses 3 lot's of A4 card and 1 12x12.
I used my Martha Stewart double loops punch and the flowers were a kind gift from Woo.
The 2 strips of ribbon across the corners on the front were from my scraps.
Which reminds me I must get some more.
On the inside the large rectangular panel on the right is the perfect size for my brand new Memory Box Die than came from the wonderful Suzanne Dean.
The swirl is a cheery lynn swirl cut to pieces.
And finally the PP is MME lost and found.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Pollycraft - favourite things - It has to be Teddy Bo
Pile it on - just because
Stamptacular - diamonds or pearls - I usually go for diamonds but pearls suited this card better
Sweet stampin - animals
One stop crafts - stitching
Moving along with the times - blooming marvellous
Secret crafter - ribbon
Forever friends - more than 1 fold
Lexis crreations - more than 1 fold

i LOVE A GO

Monday 16 January 2012

I love a good book

Can you feel the love that's going on around Teddy Bo Towers??  Well you should as Teddy Bo and Bea have been getting very romantic this week.  Want some proof?? Well look at the wonderful graphic's they have been modelling for this week.

How cute are they and how you will you decide which to buy??
To get to the Teddy Bo store just click on the picture above.
I choose to use the ever so cute Olifant TEDDYBOBEA_096

After a big mess up with my colouring I was only able to save Olifant, but he was only a tidgy 6cm.
After racking my brains I decided to try my hand at a corner bookmark.
Sadly even though I knew there was a great tutorial for the bookmark I couldn't remember where I seen it.
Stupid me found out that there was indeed a great corner tutorial, and it was done by my teamie Tammy.
If you feel inspired to make you can find Tammy's tutorial here.
I have had a go at Nicole's colours of pink and grey, as they always look so beautiful.
Olifant is coloured with copic's, with glamour dust added to his bobble hat, clear glitter pen on his rose and glossy accents on the heart.
PP is First Edition  summer breeze.
Martha Stewart zigzag punch and papermania gems.

Friends are the Flowers of Life - Tiddly Inks Blog Hop

The other day I went to the Tiddly Inks Store to buy just one new Tiddly.  I ended up with 6, as I just couldn't leave the shop without buying all of the new Wryn images,
I made this card the other using Wryn - Grow a little love and wanted to show you it so you could compare 2 cards made with the same image.

You can see the blog post for this card here.
And here is my blog hop card using the same image :

So when is a circle not a circle?  When it's made of corners!!
I was at Edna's blog the other day and fell in love with her wedding card for Janette's wedding.  She told me it was made up of Marianne Die cut corners - that you can get half price here.
The image is printed on a 10cm circle and then surrounded by 5 corners.
The card measures 18cm square, bigger than my normal style.
Because of the colour surrounding the image I kept the colourwork quite simple.
Coloured with copic and I added clear sakura stardust pen to give the heart flowers sparkle.
The PP is from a Me to You paper pack, with added sparkle from glamour dust.  The pink is coredination cardstock.

If you like my cards I would love for you to become a follower and if you want to join in another great blog hop then head over here as there's lots on offer for blog hoppers.

Here's To Our Budding Friendship

The other day I went to the Tiddly Inks Store to buy a new digi and I ended up falling in love with Christy's new range of digi's.  They are called Wryn and Friends and the whole set accidentally fell into my basket.
For this card I have chosen to colour Wryn - Grow a little love

I have coloured her with copic's and I've added clear stardust pen on her heart flowers.
The papers I have used are First Edition Up, Up and Away, that I got for Christmas off my Brother.
The swirl is a Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish.
The stopper on the base of the easel card is made by cutting a spellbinder ironwork die cut in half and added the wording "Here's to our budding friendship" in the middle of the two pieces.
I am incredibly proud of this card, especially the colouring and it will be winging its way across the ocean to America to someone I know will appreciate it.
Here are the colours of copic's I used :
Hair E33, E35, E37
Dress YG00, YG03
Shoe's BG93, BG95
If you love colouring then have you checked out the Color Me Copic challenge?  Our current challenge is all about going retro.  As well as having some brilliant prizes there's also a great group of girl's on there that love to chat and get to know new member's.  The group is run by the super talented Suzanne Dean.  What she doesn't know about colouring just isn't worth knowing, and she is always willing to help you and if she doesn't know the answer to your question then she makes it her business to find out for you.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges ;

The very first Teddy Bo Tuesday of 2012

Hi and welcome to the very first Teddy Bo Tuesday of 2012.
If you have come here from anywhere other than Teddy Bo then please, please, please go over and check out what the rest of the DT have done with the new graphic's you see below.  What they have made will blow you away!!!!

I needed to make a little boy's first birthday card and so the new graphic's just weren't right so I have used TEDDYBO_038

He is coloured with copic's, with clear sakura glaze pen on his balloons.
The paper's were a digi set which I didn't name so sorry to whoever designed them.  If you let me know I will happily give you the credit.
The zigzag border was done using my Christmas pressie to myself, a Martha Stewart punch and emboss punch.
And that's it really, simple yet eye catching for the birthday boy.
