Gotta love a red head

This is my first attempt at a red head and I'm quite pleased with how she has come out.
I am entering this card into the following challenges :
Mad for markers - red heads
Colour me creative - folds, pleats and ruffles
Emerald Fairy Garden - all things girly
Do it with digi's - monochromatic (except hair and skin)
Tickled Pink stamps - flowers
Pink Gem challenge - the sketch below

And here's my card :

Just realised I forgot to put gems in the corners of my image, will do it now and you will just have to imagine them.
My image is Lil Victorian Steampunk Lolita Evie and she's available from Tickled Pink Stamps, as a digi at the moment and also as rubber.
She is coloured with copics.  The flowers in the corner of the image are from a necklace Mum got me from our local supermarket for 50 pence and which I pulled to pieces.  The ribbon is organza with silver thread running up each side and is from my stash.
The papers are from my scraps drawer.  I am trying to use scraps rather than cut into anything new.  Doing well so far.
Thanks for dropping in today and I hope you came back soon.  I also wanted to say a huge thankyou to all of you who kindly leave me such wonderful comments, they mean alot and I can't thank you enough.
I am getting closer and closer to getting 100 followers.  When I get to 100 I will be holding a blog candy as a thankyou.
Hugs

It feels like a Magical Monday

Hi there and welcome to another new challenge over at Magical Mondays.
This challenge is being sponsored by Crafty Ribbbons.  I so wish I could enter as I've been over to their shop and there's loads of beautiful ribbons, and a girl can never have too much ribbon.
For the next two weeks we have a sketch for you to follow.
Its been designed by Heidi and has been a dream to work with.
Here's the sketch :

And here is my card :

This cute guy is from Doodle Dragon Studio's.  Dustin Pike always has great dragon's and there's usually a freebie or two on his blog, so if you don't have a magical image go and over and check this guy's dragons out.
The dragon is coloured with my copic's and the cloudy sky was made with tumbled glass distress ink, a cloud template and a stipple brush.
The sentiment reads "may your day be filled with more bubbles than troubles" and was designed by my great friend and graphic designer Marion.  You really should go and look at Marion's blog as she's a very generous girl with her sentiments.
She has kindly said that I can add the sentiment as a freebie and has done it in two colour ways.
All you need to do is right click on the sentiments below and click save as.

So please grab your magical images (dragons, fairies, wizards etc) and join us for our challenge.
I hope to see your creations real soon,
Hugs

I won over at Here come the boys!

Once again my Lili of the valley abracadabra card has won again.
Here's the card if you haven't seen it before :

And here's my badge :

You can see the post where I have been named in the top three here.
I've never had a card win more than this one has, which is nice as the star circle design took alot of brain power, and I was thrilled that it turned out exactly as I had pictured it in my head.

Teddy Bea All Blinged Up

I'm running very late this week with my Teddy Bo challenge card.  My aches and pains have stopped me rafting quite alot in the past two weeks but I have finally got my Teddy Bo card done and ready to show you.
I am entering this card into the following challenges :
Teddy Bo - bling it on, this card is covered with glamour dust glitter
Sweet Stampin' - something old (PP from when I started crafting)something new (Teddy Bea stamp)
Papertake weekly - here comes the sun
Anything Goes - summer
Cute card thursday - the sketch below

And here is my card :

The image was bought specifically for this challenge as I though she looks very summery and it would be easy to add some bling.  She is coloured with copic's and then the centre of each flower and around the ring of flowers has been given a good dose of glamour dust.  The hand drawn stitching her eyes and her nose are done with black glaze pen to give it some shine.
The white PP has also got a good dose of glamour dust (glitter)  I went over all the lines in the pattern with glue and then coated with glamour dust.  Unfortunately the camera has not picked it up very well but I think you may be able to make it out in the third photo.  The ribbon is from my stash and has silver thread running up each side of it.
According to the sketch there should be 3 things to the left of the image but as I don't use many embellishments I decided that it didn't need those, plus I didn't want to distract attention away from beautiful Teddy Bea.
And so there you have it.
I am currently in a blog hop with Mad for markers.  Could I please ask you that if you have the time could you please go over and vote for me.  Not only will I win something but the voter will also be in with a chance of winning.
Happy Sundays everyone,
Hugs

The two different girls are called Wild Sprout Audrey and Cupcake Anya.
She is of course coloured with my trusty copics and has clear gems on her bunches in her hair that have been coloured with copics to match the colour scheme, as has the ribbon running across the card and the gems in the left hand side corners.
The papers are from my straps files.
I used the following copics  :
Hair : E11,13,17,18
Hairband/pants : YG 63,67
Bows/tops : YG 00,03
Skin : E00,11

The image used this time is a Spesch stamps and is called Max.
He is of course colled with my beloved copics.
The papers are freebies from a magazine, the ribbbon and square gems are coloured with copics to match his pants and the border punch used is a fiskars bracket punch.
The stars were cut from a DCWV Rockstar 12x12 stack.  I then cut out the black sections and replaced them with the grey of the card.  The sentiment is computer generated.

It's a Kind of Magic

As soon as I saw the Abracadabra stamp from Lili of the Valley, he went straight to the top of my most wanted list, so using him today has been brilliant.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - the sketch below

And here's my card :

The cute Abracadabra guy has been stamped onto a star circle I made in make the cut then cut it on my cricut.  (if you want a copy of my MTC file , please let me know in the comments section and if anyones interested I will work out how to attach a file onto my blog and post it for you)
The star circle also has a black shadow to set off the white and make it pop.
He is coloured with copics, with his stars and moons done in yellow sakura stardust pen and his wand in silver sakura pen.
The sparkly star paper is by making memories and the black organza ribbon has silver dots all over it.  The strip of shimmery black card across the bottom of the card and behind the sentiment is actually from the box I spray my perfect pearls mists on to.  I have doodled the music notes using white gel pen.
The sentiment has been computer generated.
The only way my card is different from the sketch as I have done the stars all around the circle instead of using flowers.
Don't forget if you want a copy of my MTC file just let me know in my comments,

Totally loving Tickled Pink Stamps

This post is my final one as a  Fiskarette, my three months are up and it's time for some new designers.
Tomorrow I will go through all I've learnt about Fiskars products, my favourites pieces and what I now can't live without.
The card I'm sharing with you all today features one of Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Victorian Steampunk images called Victorian Steampunk Lad Luca.  I really struggled choosing which one to have as I bought quite a few of the digis in the last week as a pick me up after having stupid amounts of pain with my back.  Ok more than quite a few, I bought 8.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
TotallyPaperCrafts - punches and die cuts
Bugaboo - its a mans world
Mad for Markers - brown hair
Tickled Pink Stamps - the sketch below

And here's my card :

Luca is coloured with my copics, and he is edged with vintage photo distress ink.
The BP has been edged with the same distress ink, as has the circle.  The papers are from my stash pile, the kraft cardstock has been embossed with Fiskars squares texture plate and then spritzed with perfect copper perfect pearls mist as has the circle.  The ribbon was from a set from TK Maxx.  The punched spotty strip is done with my fiskars bracket border punch.  The ticket was made by the every talented Marion.
Thanks for dropping on over,

the "flowers" are actually off a pair of ear-rings I got from Dunnes. The centres of the flowers are dew dops covered in glue then coated in black glitter.
The strip of ribbon across the centre is from my stash and the pink PP came on a free 6x6" pad of pink petticoat papers I got with my magazine.  Others papers are from my stash.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving me such great comments,  read them all,

I just love sepia cards

They have to be my most favourite colour scheme so when i-copics challenge was to only use copics in the brown family I was overjoyed.  So for this card I concentrated on using only brown copics for the i-copic challenge and a one-layer card (excluding ribbon)  for Tiddly Inks , I really had to get my thinking cap on.
So I decided to try and do a bit of card design within adobe elements and then to print out and colour the image.
I am not overly confident in elements but I gave it a go.  I managed to get the image and the sentiment on and decided the image needed a frame.  After a bit of time pressing buttons to see what they did I got a nice frame around the image, but it still needed something extra.  It needed some PP, so I quickly scanned one of my favourite pieces and added a strip of it within elements and I was happy.
I finally added 2 strips of ribbon that I got from The stamp pad in Saddleworth. This is such gorgeous ribbon, I will have to get some more.  If you live locally you might want to nip over there on Tuesday 21st June as they are opening until 9pm, to give you plenty of time to browse, watch a demo or two and maybe even have a glass of wine.  I went to their last demo day and thoroughly enjoyed myself, not only were all the staff happy to answer any questions but the demo's were brilliant, I could have stayed all day.
So after all that rambling one, I'd better show you my card, hadn't I?

Here is a close-up of the lighthouse.  I printed onto conqueror concept glod dust card.  It give a lovely effect but it's very hard to blend on.

Here you can just how flat my card actually is, a miracle for someone who love to pad up her layers on cards.

Its so nice to be back Tiddly-ing again, I've really missed colouring Christy's imagas.
